A very nice, soft visual in this capture,EM. First time I have seen a bee with a hacksaw leg, must have happened during the war. Thanks very much for sharing sir.

Yes they have those little receding joints on the legs

An artifact of getting the detail well from this angle?

We are getting many photos that include bees {there will now be at least three on page 1} - which is good considering the world-wide shortage of "pollinators".

We have a good number of Bees in our area and plant a lot of flowering plants for them
