This little guy was hanging out on my mailbox late Sunday afternoon. Finally sat still long enough for me to get a shot of him.

Yes, it is. The solid cat made by Perkins Elmer and sold by Vivitar. Juan Reyces, the engineer who designed this lens, also designed the corrective lens for the Hubble telescope.

It was late in the afternoon, about 15 minutes from sunset, so there was a very strong side light.
