On The Rocks
Lens: DA20-40-ltd Camera: K-5 II Photo Location: Bass Harbor, Maine ISO: 160 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F16

Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse has been warning mariners of the hazardous rocks and guiding them to the harbor for 162 years.
This photograph is a stack of three bracketed images at 20mm.

I was hoping for two fingers of whisky over ice, but as an alternative I'll happily accept seeing this image

A little more sunset afterglow might have been nice, but the clouds work well. I love the glow the lighthouse lamp has.

It looked like it might be a burner of a sunset while watching it develop, but alas it ended up being quite mellow. No complaints from me. It was great to spend a couple hours there.

Lovely shot. As mentioned, I too love the glow inside the lighthouse.
