Looks absolutely yummy (but, are these edible?).

Or, are these artificial?

I have to admit there is something so real in your shot, Tony. I am even more shocked to learn that they are not even real! It is even more wonderful then. Thanks for sharing.

This is in one of the largest if not the largest Garden Center in the state of Oregon. I can assure you, if they were real, there would be nothing left to look at.

That was my thinking also. However, with my girth, it was impossible to see myself.

That's why if I ever do a self portrait it will be with a 200mm lens rather than a wide angle. While I need the wide angle to capture all of me, I don't need any bits to be made optically bigger.

I do not believe truer words were spoken. Prior to entering into Floral Photography I worked almost exclusively with both indoor and outdoor portrait work. I have found that

working with primes, i,e., 35mm,50mm and even 85mm are basically, wide angle lenses and have a serious tendency to create oversized foreheads and some ugly sized

noses. Fortunately, I discovered the sweet spot (for me anyway) was right at 170mm where I was able to capture very accurate proportions and thereby create some very

pleasing results. Of course it helps tremendously to have a high quality telephoto in order to reduce or limit the effects of compression. Thanks again for your input.

Very nice. But no need to try hard to get into the mood. If it comes naturally, great. If not, there's always next year as long as you stay smart and safe,
