Play Time in Snow
Lens: DA55-300PLM Camera: K-5 II Photo Location: Side yard ISO: 500 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F7.1

This photo from yesterday does not show that I have another tennis ball in my hand. That is the only reason Dinah dropped the ball she had.

Really liking the oof background from the 55-300PLM, even at f7.1.

Yes, telephoto doesn't need much separation to give 'bokeh', and sometimes it is very nice.

The 55-300 PLM is a really good lens !

I love the dog expression! It does not look like "too happy" in fact. Perhaps a bit cold for him?

Thank you! She is focused like a laser on the tennis ball in my hand. I don't think she feels the cold at all.

True. I'm sort of programed to think super zooms don't do quality, especially at smaller apertures. The 55-300PLM is de-programming me. :-)
