An interesting scene, Larry. Do these rocks get covered with water after lots of rain?

Hey, Jer, My friend thanks for viewing!! They do get covered when the river is up and as the water goes back down reflecting pools are left in the pockets in the rocks. I just have to catch the right time to go down for some images. This area is interesting as it was used in "The Sirens" Scene in the movie "O Brother where art thou"

By golly, I remember that scene. I haven't visited Mississippi in some time, but we've enjoyed Biloxi, Natchez and Vicksburg over the years. I also spent a few nice days some years ago in Hattiesburg when I gave one of the plenary lectures to a national meeting of polymer chemistry grad students at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Glad it jogged your memory, My Friend, also glad you got to enjoy a bit of Mississippi Hospitality!! Ah a chemistry guy, my son got his Doctorate in Analytical Chemistry from LSU several years ago did a lot of his grad work on the Human Genome Project.
