Abstract Red

One of the topics for my local photo club this month is "red", and since I didn't bump into any super models with red hair wearing a red dress on any of my walks, I think I'm going with this.

I know what it is. But i didn't know that they could be colored.

Pulled these lights out of the Christmas decorations box this weekend.

I have a couple green, and this one red one. All of my CFL lights have been replaced with LEDs. I have a couple incandescents in a few closets and tube fluorescent tubes that are going on 18 years. The tubes get replaced with the LED tubes when they burn out.

Oh, a fluorescent tube? .. Indeed I have no idea the compact one could be colored.

This photo will do it quite well.
And if you don't win this time with "red" use the same shot when "minimalistic" comes for a topic

I like this one very much. Minimalist, two-color photo puts the emphasis on "red"!

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind. I was going to make it a black and white, but still title it red. But my bad attempt at humor would probably be lost on some of the judges in the local photo club.

Thank you. I may have to print this one, just to have in the photo rotation in my wife's art room in the house.
