European tourists admiring the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, ARIZONA
Camera: Canon G3X Photo Location: Grand Canyon, AZ
Posted By: RICHARD L., 12-04-2020, 07:00 AM

These European tourists (Dutch, I think) were incredulous, seeing the beauty of Mount Hayden from Point Imperial on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I spent 4 days admiring this awesome sight, camping at the Lamotte campground just outside of the Park boundaries.

Nice to see the canyon with the perspective of people seeing it.

I lived and worked at the South rim of the GC long ago. I saw many dramatic conditions that would have made for great pictures but I failed to take many of them. Now I wish I would have.

A great pic - certainly catching people admiring the view gives a pic like this extra impact. The shade in the foreground is a nice contrast to the rest of the bright sun-scorched scene. Great all-round composition.

I'd love to go back to the Grand Canyon. It was an amazing experience to walk from the south rim to the north rim. Thanks for posting!

I see you used a Canon G3. That is my all in one camera as well when I don't carry my Pentax gear.
