The winter plants bow under the pressure of a heavy wet snow on their seed heads.

This is a well composed image, and I love the choice of black & white which works with the high contrast between the snow and the plants. Well done.

Thank you Todd!

To file in the "no sacrifice is too great for art" department.....I tried this shot crouching down and couldn't achieve the separation between the foreground and background so ended up lying down in the snow covered road to get this shot.......and that is why I'm disappointed that the upcoming k-lll doesn't have a flip screen :-)

I hear you. That is why I want to win the KP! My wife is tired of washing my dirty clothes from crawling on the ground trying to get low macro shots...

Loving it. That's a picture similar to something I wanted to capture recently, but the snow melted before I could go outside.

Well done. It's so sad and certainly feel for the plants. Captured the mood they'd be in perfectly.

Thank you! I feel for the people that this is a metaphor for.

Ditto here. Dirty and wet clothes not to mention tired old bones. KP seems like a step backwards from K-3 but I may well go that way instead of K-3lll.

Hope to be in northern Cal next summer depending of course on the pandemic situation then. Family reunion cancelled this year. I'm watching your shots to figure where to go before and after.

That it is. I'll tell my boss that Teams meetings are less crucial than photography timing...
