Dawson at Night 2020
Lens: 14mm Camera: K3II Photo Location: Wells Gray ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F4.5

May as well give people the opportunity to get into the raffle.
Here is a star trail from Dawson Falls from a few days ago. Challenging conditions, almost abandoned editing this one due to complications, but got it done.

I like the "strong" foreground with all the rocks and ice. The trails are fantastic, too.

powerful! i like the wintery foreground textures, those stones make this photo special.

Definitely. I started shooting it at around 5:30, finished around 8:20. The mist had a cycle of about 10-12 minutes where it'd blow over top me for about a minute. I had to do a lot of ice removal from the front of the lens.
Being that, I had to shoot the star trails further back out of the mist so I could avoid having to pause and scrape ice, causing too many gaps to fill.
I am actually afraid to look at the lens coating... but I am sure it's fine.
