Wonderful scenary ...

It is a nice view and I am glad we made the last-minute decision to harness the good weather forecast and went onto the Großvenediger this year.

I sincerely hope you do not mind, but these places truly fascinate me. The elevation here is 12,028' and the English Translation is: "Great Venetian." Thanks again for such wonderful photography.TT

No trouble at all. The Großvenediger had actually an elevation of about 12,054' in the 80s but the summit is now nearly free of ice and snow and is therefore "only" 11,998' high.
