A somewhat belatedly post for September. A panorama from the "Großvenediger" in Austria. (Schlatenkees is the name of the glacier in the foreground)

Indeed, the human brings to perspective the immensity of the glacier and the surrounding mountains.

That's a gorgeous picture. Was this made of multiple stitched pictures or just one?

Thank you!
It's a stitch from 24 pictures made with the F 35-70mm lens

Thanks!

As much as I'd like to take credid for placing my cousin in the picture on purpose, it was unavoidable to place him somewhere in it. Beeing only a two man rope team, sticking to the safety gap is mandatory.

The Großvenediger is the 5th highest mountain of Austria and part of the High Tauern (in the Alps), yes.

Great photo.

My eyes immediately fell on the person and then started to wander round the scene, so much to see. It must have been spectacular up there. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of what you saw

That's pretty wild. Even if I didn't have a camera, just the view alone.

I sincerely hope you do not mind, but these places truly fascinate me. The elevation here is 12,028' and the English Translation is: "Great Venetian." Thanks again for such wonderful photography.
