Must be a Duck!
Lens: 55-300 Camera: k50 Photo Location: Reynolds Reserve ISO: 250 Shutter Speed: 1/90s Aperture: F4.5

Out by the Pond ...creeping quietly up to a clearing... 55 - 300 maxed out.on a monopod I spotted this duck out on a perch in the pond.. Ohh lets see if we can reach him. I looked down adjusting the Monopod. I look up....The Duck is 4 feet away from me. Apparently its used to being fed. Soo back up to 55 and at least he waved for me. Been great if it was a hawk. or a woodpecker. /Sigh No I dont feed wildlife.

It's a domestic Muscovy. (The only domestic type that isn't a Mallard)

There's an unfortunate amount of ducks near me that come out for food too - no fear!

I have Muscovys in our lakes, we don’t feed them, But a mama and 8 duckling have walked right up to our steps, fearlessly for the last 4 months. Ducklings are almost as big as mom!

They seem quite curious, vs our other species.

Hang up and DRIVE!
