Glowing Fern

I have spent many years and countless shots to get an excellent fern image. Finally, I manage to capture the light just right and get something that really impresses me.

Excellent light that really makes the fern stand out in a 3-dimensional aesthetic. Nicely done.

Excellent! Perfect light. I'm impressed too as I have many fern images that pale in comparison.

So forgive my ignorance: was the fern slightly blown out (but not enough to lose detail) and then you brought everything down so the background is dark but your subject is properly lit?

Nice capture, is this with fill-in flash?

I love your golden green hue on the plant. The dark background actually worked and the framing left enough breathing space for your subject.

A wonderful fern image! Ferns are amongst my favorite photo subjects particularly because they grow in areas that the sunlight and shade create these kinds of opportunities.
