Lens: Pentax DA 55-300 mm + 1.4X TC Camera: Pentax KP

A few days ago I posted several pictures of the avian riot taking place at our bird feeder.
Then, the squirrels forgot to occupy the squirrel feeder full time, and the Sparrows took over it also.

Very nice! I love the action around a bird feeder. I can watch them all day.

I also can watch them all day.
I am especially pleased by the patterns on the backs of flying Sparrows.
They may be 'common', but I am very pleased by what they look like.

Today, the Squirrels seemed to 'take off' work around 3pm, for the last two hours of daylight, the Sparrows had the squirrel feeder to themselves.

As I watched, a limited number of them fed off the remaining corn, and I saw several individual squabbles like this one;
they really were not getting along.
