False River during a storm front.
Lens: 3mm Camera: Ambarella H2 image processor ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F2.8

This is false river in Louisiana. Today a storm front is passing through. or stuck over us, I'm not sure which. It was a late evening image using a tiny 1-over 2/3 sensor. 12 MP. I have bass fished here since I was 12. My grandparents used to take me here so I could fish. They would get 2 rooms at the local hotel just so I could go fishing. I wish they were here today. I have many stories that I could tell. Took much for granted when I was younger, only to regret it now that I'm older. If we could only go back and do it all over again, knowing what we know now.
Happy Holidays people.

Very dramatic image. The line of red in the distance nicely split the sky from the land and water. Thanks for sharing the image and the memories.

I'd be tempted to get rid of the full water bit and crop to the banks, I think it brings out the strip of red sky but what a moody sky. Love it
