Congrats.
Was the Lambretta made by Vespa. Thought they were 2 separate companies.

They were seperate,vespa are made by piaggio in pontedera and lambretta by innocenti in milan and later licence built by servetta in spain.In 1971 the tooling for the gp range was sold to s.i.l in luknow,india following the demise of innocenti.Production continued until a few years ago although they are still assembling engines for export.

Blimey,aint had all that stuff on one since 1981....we leave the clown car comedy to the austin powers fan club.She's being done up as a 60's dealer special,rear mounted fog/spot lamp on the legshields S type badges front brake airscoop and jack brabhams 1959 british gp number on the sidepanels etc.Only parts i'm having trouble with are a pair of origional ball ended handlebar levers......Oh and for those wondering why i'm vespa i also have a 1958 vespa 150 gran sport
