Around this time of year a flock of Rainbow Lorikeets spend time sitting in the trees at the edge of my drive, eating what ever nuts or berries the trees produce. There are a couple of examples..

Our local birds seem so dull compared to theses. We have to go to the St. Louis Zoo to see birds like this.
