Light and shadows are playing well, the chair has "character", the composition is interesting: i like it!

I love the simplicity of the photo but in reality it isn't that simple to achieve such a good result.

Simple yet great. The detail on the chair gives you the character you seek. If I wanna be picky, I would burn the upper right corner to ensure that the eye won’t stand there. If you wanna go the other route, maybe give some abstract background light at a vertical frame. But I only say that because everything works well and it seems like a thought out shot.
