I spent the better part of a day......
Posted By: Heinrich Lohmann, 11-14-2008, 08:17 PM

....on my recent trip hiking in Pukaskwa National Park. (Ontario)

This was an amazing place. After I left the visitor centre and started on the trail the place seemed deserted, in more than six hours I saw three other hikers from a distance and met one couple on the trail. It was a tiring but very good day.

For anyone that is interested the whole hike is here:

Great shots Heinrich - looks almost costal. Could be Newfoundland.

Hi Mike and thank you. It is a very beautiful place, especially in the fall when there are not too many people on the trails.

Take care,

Ooh, very scenic. Fresh air, not too much civilization... looks like a nice place for real estate developments!

Hi Mike, it's a very decent place wish that I would live closer to it. For you it is only a day and a half's drive.

Take care,
