A Simple Rose by the 77Ltd

Wow! Man that is beautiful Mike. I think the 77 ltd is my favorite lens for shooting flowers. Shooting flowers was the first thing I used the 77 ltd for, it has been my prefered flower lens ever since, especially roses for some reason.

Yes it is a VERY nice photo Mike, it's a real keeper! Hard to beat the 77ltd for color and contrast too. Did I mention Bokeh?

Thanks LaRee, its my first step into close-ups with the 77, i'm thinking of getting a +3.8 or +4 diopter achromat for the lens so i can get a little closer, currently my preferred flower lens is my Sigma 24mm F1.8 and though i doubt the 77 will bump it out i hope the 77 will compliment it nicely

Thanks Morg, it is hard to beat the 77 in almost everything and i love it!

another interesting and beautiful shot Mike, from the other forum you posted some really nice shots taken w/ the DA 50-200 and a Raynox 250, how do you compare this setup to a Vivitar macro? thanks in advance.
