Bird photography - Woodreaux Peckriale' - no feeders or cages.
Camera: Olympus EM1X micro 4/3

I decided to stay on this subject for a day or three, hoping for a good image.It's tough.

Nice capture and good catchlight with warm light. Persistence like this usually brings something really good.

Well, you realised your hopes very well - great image: nice warm colours and texture in the stump, and the focus on the bird perfecting the picture. Definitely a good one!!
