Not a good picture by any means. There were hundreds of swallows collecting mud for their nests under the bridge. I a) didn't get even one good shot, and b) never noticed the bird in the water until after I got home. There must have been a midair collision at some point, I've looked at my previous images and must have just missed it.I wander if the bird ended up as turtle bate, drowned, or made it to the river bank.
