Hello,

Of course, as per Murphy's law, the only time a high flying big Red Tail Hawk comes screaming its lungs out diving close to you and levels off at roof top level, you have a wide angle prime in your camera
Well, it could be worst, I was using the 28 and had swapped to the 35 earlier. Anyways, I was able to get this shot of this fast moving bird which is a favorite. When I was a kid I remember I could swear they had air force star insignias under the wings

Considerable cropping.

Thanks,

We had a great sighting yesterday - a red tailed hawk took down a crow in our neighbor's yard. He finished his meal and flew away about two hours after taking him down. I'll try to post a pic or two this weekend. However, it won't be my pic; I was stuck inside working. Thank goodness my husband was able to capture the shots. So i know how you feel about missed opportunities! Nice shot anyway!

I think it is a great shot, very clear, great background, have these in Mississippi too. Don't see them often, they're beautiful birds, and with a 28mm no less. Really nice photo.

Very good capture. I like the way you photographed it towards the corner of the frame. It makes it much more interesting than centered.

I agree with ToddK. You framed the subject well. Exposure and image sharpness are very good.
