Blue Angels #7 ;)

Here is my latest photo up on airliners.net, its my 215th altogether and my 117th from the K20D

F8.0, 1/500th, ISO200, EV+0.7, 20mm, EDR, Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC

Thats just it... the Blue Angels only have 6 planes in their routine... this isn't even an F18 but the owner thought it looked like the classic A4s of the Blue Angels that he painted it to look like the blue angels planes.

Thought for a minute US defence cuts had kicked in! Never thought they were similar but from that angle it does have a bit of skyhawk about it.......

Yes it does but they are certainly not the same plane, i'd still like to own one of these however.

This aircraft was at our show in August as well and I had to look twice at it myself before realizing that it was not the A-4 Skyhawk aircraft the Blue Angels once flew.
Hornets and Skyhawks have been the only planes I have personally seen the Angels fly. I would have really loved to see the group fly in the F-4 Phantoms if only just once. The F-4 was the only aircraft The Blue Angels and The Thunderbirds both demonstrated, I think. I love that plane.
