That's a nice effect. Makes it look almost like silk.

Very appealing shot; I especially like the rim lighting effect. Do you ever use another lens? Just kidding. With the results you always get from that one, why switch?

It is an actual Rose but I solarized the colour

Yes it's an effect in CS6 called solarizing which I played around with
