Boy, this one's really strutting his or her stuff! I used to photograph egrets frequently, but in recent years I never seem to be in the right place at the right time.

Great shot, buddy - composition, exposure and background in concert!!

Excellent capture and composition Larry. Egrets provide such interesting poses with their long bodies and wing spans.

Many thanks, My Friend, Yep showing out a bit! Where I shoot using anything shorter than 300 mm is about useless, Egrets are tough to "sneak up" on, they are pretty warry birds. Thanks for viewing!!
