Fast Birds with a Pentax
Posted By: hooppjs, 11-16-2008, 01:15 AM

Gday all,
First shot, the flying rat, moved its head left/right in .5 of a second. Only a Pentax can catch that.
Second shot is of the rare 4 legged pelican found down here, in the warming months.
Anyone need a laugh?

Peter

Oh my goodness. I always look at pics with my three year old daughter.

So now she thinks the people in Australia do not have any nose...

mickey - you said, Yeah, that's what I thought it was...but wasn't sure if it had been photoshopped as it is a small pic.
Do you have a link to a larger version?
Did you take it?

Cheers.

mickey - No, I didn't take it and I reckon it is real, VERY real. If not this shot, it does happen. I hope the large version loads for you my friend.

I have a kayak,

Peter

PS - I am sorry I do not have the ability to send pics in pm's.

Syb mate, please tell the spawn aussies do indeed have noses, and I am only playing silly buggers.

Thanks a lot for the reply.
I didn't want to distract too much from the pics you posted, I just found that pic fascinating.
That's some scary stuff right there...a real sense of isolation.

Thanks a lot for posting it!
