Such power - and you had to use a shutter speed of less than 1/1000 to capture it.

Some people like to take BIF pictures. This is a wonderful example of a WIF shot (water in flow). Waterfalls are very soothing to look at, but each millisecond very complex fluid dynamics are happening. Thanks for this tiny time slice. Quite revealing.

I really like this. Always enjoy seeing water captured with a fast shutter speed, just creates interesting patterns and shapes. Very nice
Thank you for your kind comments.

Oddly appealing, but 'oddly' in a good way.

I have taken many a pix of water descending quickly in a water fall, but have never been able to get this effect. Very nice.

Bet this photograph would sell.

It is a very interesting and pleasing image with so many colors complex patterns. Molten glass is a good description.

A little more colourful than I'm used to from you
Also, where's the hidden lassie trying to sneak in a shower?

Always good to see the variety of your shots and the quality of your images.
Now all this water needs is a wee dram

Your description is quite accurate. Abstract is also correct. Looking at this fine photo, one could imagine many things that it could be. Wonderfully interesting shot.

Oh she's there, kinda behind the waterfall... can you not make her out?

For this much water... you need several massive drams to get the ratio anywhere to correct.

Hi,
I have never tried such a photograph!
You have given me something to try as I have always gone for the silky effect with long exposures!
Regards,
Gordon.
