The water looks cold and the weather looks threatening. But it is still a nice shot!

A bit of everything here: fast-flowing, blue-ice coloured water looking very cold; deep green forest; snow-capped peaks; and dark clouds threatening a storm. Am I saying the picture is too busy?

Absolutely not! You have captured the climate dynamics of this location perfectly. The rocks in the bottom right-hand corner complete the image nicely.

It's quite easy to take interesting shots in rather exotic places like this. (Probably similar to shooting a beautiful model who knows their job.) It also required little post processing (mostly removing the colour aberration of the DA-L kits lens and a slight cropping).

Beautiful scene, makes me want to wrap up warm!

I also feel like I want to see further down river / round the bend (the last bit might be a statement about myself!)

A great photo, demonstrating the untouchable side of nature, along with the beauty of the landscape. The deep color palette brings strong emotions.
