I just realized I probably spent as much time and went through as many steps in post-processing this photo as she did in getting all dolled up like this.

Anyway, I spent so much time on it I was determined to post it. Made a lovely A3 print.

I really do! This is a great shot. I think it is only fair that "our" work continue in to PP with as much effort as the models put into their presentations. The people I am starting up relationships with, to photograph them, are all creative and work at presentation as an art.

Thanks for the inspiration. Now off to earn my White Belt in PP-KungFu.

Mike, can you post the original so we can see what the effect of the PP was.

Perfect! You can feel the tension and 'relaxed concentration'.

Never let it be said I am not an obliging sort of fellow.

That's a straight default Lightroom JPG rendition of the original DNG file just as it came out of the camera. See why it took me about an hour to fix it?

I told one of my coworkers the other day that I have about 900 photos to post-process and he was of the opinion that I ought to just hand over the photos just as they were. Needless to say, I was horrified by the very thought of it.

Sincere thanks to everyone for the kind comments. I wish you were all here handy so I could pass the print around. The computer monitor just doesn't do justice to it. I love my new Canon Pixus Pro9000 printer. Wish I had gotten one before now.
