The day was one of those days when the sun was out, then behind clouds, then out again. I had already taken a number of (fairly ordinary) shots of this bird facing the opposite direction, when the sun was behind the clouds - but hung around hoping for either the sun to come back out, or a better pose. I was lucky - I got both!
