Beauty in the marshes of Louisiana about 1 hour ago
Camera: Olympus EM1X micro 4/3

I think this may be my best exposure on this species.
Very nearly straight out of the camera, shot in RAW. I mean, I shoot everything in RAW but this image came in special , somehow.
Had to add a little bit of color and contrast ( very little) on the flat RAW image. That's about it.
Gotten about 1 hour ago.

Really nice shot. The detail, lighting, and composition are all very well done.

Yes, great pic. I like the detail in the plumes and eye area. You have caught the movement nicely.

Sparkling image. Too often I see photos of these birds with blown-out highlights, but you really nailed this.
