I saw a hollow down the railroad tracks. I thought it would make a nice shot to catch the engine of a train coming out of the hollow.
So I walked way down there , through the woods. It was getting late in the day. I waited for 2 hours. By this time the sun was going down and it was late evening.
And wouldn't you know it..........the train came from the other direction while going into the hollow instead of the engine coming out of it. . So I sat there thinking that life just gave me lemons.
So I made Lemonade.

Very cool shot. And I would say it is probably better to catch a train going away than coming anyway from right in the middle of the tracks!

I like it, love the light and the reflection of what appears to be a brake light on the tracks.

Me too - and the moody feel of the photo is very cool.

Interesting shot. It is an activity happening within natural territory.

Good shot, though you would probably get arrested for that over here if the British Transport Police caught you!

Fantastic image!

It's a great idea to go out with an idea in mind, it is also very good to recognize an opportunity despite it not being the one yet set out to capture.

Very evocative of - je ne sais quoi - strange emotions. Lonellness? A sense of something ending? some sort of finality? But the title you have given this image certainly fits with these thoughts.

A good one, Lightspeed.
