Lost to us but not forgotten

Yesterday I was on a walkabout (well a drive about really) and came across these two poignant signs. A reminder of how fleeting life can be.

I am not sure what the story was on this one. I would guess a small child in a car accident.

No 2 and 3 do capture the essence of the memory surrounding the scene.

Very good captures and a slight high key look to the photographs themselves

Interesting to see a "ghost bike" as your subject. These pop up every once in a while here in the Portland area as temporary memorials to the lives of bicyclists taken by careless motorists.

Thanks James as I mentioned I stopped for a minute and did indeed smell the roses.

life is to short somber series for sure. Nice job capturing them.
