Great picture...boy did you catch that doggie in mid air or what. I guess you could say you were able to 'freeze' him !

Thanks everyone! This was fun to take. A challenge with the K01, it has a bit of a delay between shots so you only really get one shot when the dogs are flying towards you!

this is where there was some usefulness to the old pentax FA power zoom lenses. they had on the PZ1 not only predictive autoficus, tracking the focus distance change but also a function called Image size tracking where the lens would in theory, zoom out to keep the image at a constant size as puppy is running head on into you

this worked fairly well and i don't know why it was discontinued but it was only retained functionally for the PZ series of cameras as far as i know
