White Crab Spider - Better Version
Lens: Pentax DFA Macro SMC 100mm F2.8 WR - FULL FRAME Camera: Pentax KP Photo Location: My Garden ISO: 250 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F7.1

This time, instead of trying to get as close as possible, I pulled back to around 2 ft+, and got better DOF. Then cropped. Subject was also at a much better angle to focal plane.

Of course it is a great photo ! But since this is an Australian creature you have an unfair advantage over the rest of the world . Just kidding .

This is a very nice and detailed image. The spider stands out against the green leaf although it probably would prefer not to...

Great image.

A ghosty white spider...

Is this another one of those things that will kill me dead, then eat me... or is eat me live, then kill me?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and "Likes".

It seems that with macros closer is not always better: a bit of distance, smart aperture, and cropping get a better over-all picture sometimes.
