Corra Lynn waterfall by Fa 31mm ltd f1.8
Posted By: roentarre, 11-18-2008, 04:36 AM

This was taken at a local waterfall called Corra Lynn waterfall. On a tripod, merumi CPL and aperture down to f16 for some good old diffraction.

In fact, there are 4 Corra Lynn waterfalls in my state. They are all mislabelled on the melway and confusing the hell of me for last 5 years or so.

Now I got images of all these four waterfalls. Only this one is probably the best one out of the them.

Very nice James. Such lush vegetation surrounding the rocks and water. I am having a hard time with scale how wide and long is this ? Good use of stopped down and slow shutter for sure.

Very nice... Are they perhaps, all on the Cora Lynn river and the geographers are just very unimaginative? LOL

Beautiful place! I like the angle which shows the steepness of the ascent.

Dave, this is not too big. It is probably puny size by American standard. The fall is roughly about 32 metre in height spanning over 10 metres or so.

The place is great for photography as the lighting is rather homogenous over the fall...

Thank you for taking your time to browse through this.

It was quite a bit of climbing back up to the road. I spotted a few snakes along the way as well...

Yes, the naming in my state is rather pathetic. Most of the national park landmarks are mislabelled on maps with crappy names.

King lake national park does not have a lake but lots of ferns... etc
