It's not often a bird poses for you, but I felt this bird did. I was on a six mile walk through a nearby Game Land this morning and as I got back to my truck this bird was sitting pretty close by, I took some photos which were OK even though the bird had some branches in front of it. Suddenly as I thought it was going to fly away, it came closer and stood there while I took a few photos. I quit shooting and walked around and put some things in the other side of the truck, t the door and it actually stayed there, I took one or two more and off it went.

Nice shots! Yeah, the mockingbirds here seem pretty comfortable around people.

They are here around the house, but this just seemed odd because it was out in the natural area, might see a couple dozen cars go by in a day. That day I walked six miles and saw no other human, drove about 20 in the place and saw one truck, I love it!

Excellent captures Tom! Terrific detail and sharpness and they look great against the blurred background.

Nice shots Tom. I had one pose for me here at the house. Posted it here on PF as 'Be sure to get my good side'. Maybe we can go on photo walks together when the virus calms down.

Thanks, and I got my second vaccine shot 11 days ago, that makes me feel a little less vulnerable.
