2nd place pic.
Camera: k5 IIs Photo Location: Saugus Iron Works. ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/160s Aperture: F9

The National Weather Service Boston Ma. had a Winter Scene Contest. My shot of the Saugus Iron Works made the top 10 and ended up in 2nd.place which I was very pleased with.--charliezap.

That truly is a very picturesque scene. Love the lumpy mounds in the foreground. Great composition - the line of the foreground bridge on the left is continued by the horizontal planks of the two buildings, and their lines in turn lead to the second bridge, so our eyes are encouraged to travel through the image.


Congrats on the 2nd prize.

I don't know Charlie. I know which one I would hang in my room. I would definitely be yours Could be I am not following the correct judging criteria.
