Nice set (and shot). Man, that little Schrade Old Timer there is a classic.... Carried one of them for many many years.

That well used knife, which what appears to be a parachute cord wrapped around the handle, looks as if it has an interesting history. My two favourite knives are my Buck 119, general purpose camp knife and Buck 110, folder. Favourite multi tool is my Swiss Tool.

Nice array and composition of knives in that pix.

Very nice set of knives! No set is complete without the good old multi-tool.

Terrific idea, Robert, that's very nicely executed.

Thanks all.

Lots of different knives for different things - the Leatherman is my daily carry, very useful for pretty much anything I run into, also replaced the Swiss Army Knife. The Opinel is a beautiful knife for camping and food preparation, well worth it's price (which is really inexpensive!), similarly the Morakniv is another bargain tool which is handy for skinning/dressing and general purpose use. I picked up the Schrade Old Timer for wood carving, but it really hasn't gotten the use it deserves... Now that big old knife with the paracord handle, I like to call my "bear knife"

Not the "sharpest" lens for this shot, but then again, the items in the shot are sharp enough

Thanks, while I've never had complaints about the sharpness with my 21, but the knives are certainly sharp - a sharp knife is a useful knife.

Schrade Old Timer is now made in China.

Story has it that Walmart gave them the choice, to either make them in China to increase profits, or not be on the shelf.

That's unfortunate...

Yeah - it's a great knife, especially for the price
