Here There Be Monsters

This pic contrasts the bulk of a normal-sized bee against a lynx spider feeding on a small Australian native bee. These more "normal" like bees were swarming in and out and around this bloom while the spider remained in the same position with his catch.

I am still trying to develop some familiarisation with my new 150-450mm MONSTER lens and I had actually been looking for birds when I noticed this little drama taking place. I hadn't got as close as I could have when I took this shot, so it is cropped to within an inch of its life here!!!

Very nice wildlife capture sir. Tough to get these images to a point where the shooter is happy. Well done and many thnx for posting.
