Nature shedding python

This shedding python in the scrub, i was close enough for this photo, it has been cropped, I was far enough away to not annoy it too much. the eyes look cloudy as this is part of the shedding process.

Splendid effort! I would have to take a brave pill before doing that.

Even then, I would use a 400mm. With 1.4x teleconverter. On a crop frame camera.

Fantastic capture! I imagine they are much more on the defensive during the shedding process.

Great image - love how you caught it while its tongue was out. The cloudy eye is creepy.

Fabulous detail! Sadly I haven't seen too many snakes since I got decent digital camera gear. Great shot!

Excellent. I also would take a picture from a distance. Most of the snakes that I photo are non-venemous. None are that large.
