After welcome I haven’t post any pic yet, so here is my first. Not so liked by me because it’s dark mood but most of my pics are like that. Still learning. IMGP1071 | Lukasz Wronecki | Flickr

Dark, moody shots of trees and sky can be quite compelling. Nothing wrong with that!

Set your camera to green mode or program mode, frame a scene, and snap the shutter. See what happens. You are turning control of the image over to the camera, and you may or may not like the result. But it is fun to experiment. Black and white photography is something lots of folks prefer, but your K-1 II is capable of producing some stunning color images too. Just have fun while you learn.

Hehe I am sure that is capable, the clue is me, what I want to do. And way of using green mode is not so bad, that is some way to back to beginnings of my shooting. In other way, shooting only on M mode is same fun, specially ‘couse there is still some things that I hadn’t done yet or forgot to do. Always not enough time. Days are too short .

Okey. Thank you very much.

P.S. I read about green mode how it adapt and use ‘AI’ and this is very intriguing.

This is a very good black & white image. The low angle of the sun creates excellent contrast, and your main subject, the person, is illuminated nicely.

Thank you very much for you comment. I very appreciate your positive feedback. Anyway as said above I tried some Auto mode this weekend and didn’t liked results. Ok, some shoots went good, but I think I shoot to many. From 60 I liked only 10 maybe less. I think I will stay with manual . More control that you need to engage is more time to consider what your really want to shot and if you want it at all.
