Gorgeous car! Very interesting background as well, the windows and the stonework around them is very eye catching. Two steps to your right, and you could use it as a frame for a lot of good images of bench sitters and passersby

Thank you for your comments, it was a quick reaction image... based solely on the sound of the approaching fine piece of Italian automotive engineering.

A lot to see in this great photo. Like two world captured in one picture - the red Ferrari in motion through a static world where time has stopped. Cool.

Outstanding capture! You had one shot at it and it worked. Luckily the car going the other way didn't mess it up.

Ferrari Red !

I also like the background...those windows give a distorted reflection...almost like a carnival funhouse.

Exactly... Rossa Corsa (Racing Red), that said there some 15 classic versions of Ferrari Red, some being much darker than the current version.

Thank you... I'm sure that's the first time that the "de Rossio Station" in Lisbon, has been described as a near carnival funhouse.

Have you shared this photo before or have you actually hung onto this beauty for ten and a half years? Looking at the EXIF, this is another example of how even the lowly 18-55 kit lens can produce beautiful images in the right hands. I was going to complain about the blurry black thing covering up part of the Ferrari and wish that you had used a higher shutter speed to sharpen up the "woman" in red; then it hit me, a breathtakingly beautiful woman becomes less alluring if she removes her clothes and the same thing applies to a Ferrari.
