A serenade in less than a second
Lens: 300*+1.4 TC 100 2.8 Camera: K3ll Photo Location: Airdrie, Alberta ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/2500s Aperture: F6.3

These are 3 frames from the same burst. a house finch doing his best to convince the female to be the mother of his babies... Camera was KP, not K3ll.

Blink and you miss it . I often wonder how much we see compared to birds . You have a very interesting series .

She doesn't look convinced to be fair.

She's probably thinking " I knew this Welsh boy a while back, boy did he have a voice. Sigh!"

For some reason, I have only just come across this series now.
Wonderful shots, Heinrich. In the second shot he really looks like he is giving it his all - beak wide open, (throat no doubt in top gear) and tail fanning out!

Thank you Peter, his throat being in top gear was what made me look in the first place and it took me a few moments to see them way up in a poplar tree..

I'm impressed with the 300* 1.4 combo in terms of how sharp everything is. Nice shots
