Great shots! People tend to ignore them because they're so common, but they are beautiful birds in their own right. I have lots of photos of them.

Thanks Mike and Rob. Yes I was shooting at 1600 ISO and F4 so shutter speeds were 1/1600 to 1/18000 in the fairly bright conditions. Its a bit of a change for me as I usually shoot moving subjects (motorsport etc) at slow shutter speeds to get plenty of blur.
