Went Thru Tulips Today.
Lens: SMC PENTAX-FA 1:4.5~5.6 80~320MM LENS Camera: Pentax K-7 Photo Location: Neighborhood ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/60s Aperture: F8

The Tulips are just beginning to bud here but your shot has tempted me to get out there once they flower. You never know, I may even take my trusted K-7 out for a look too.

That is a very good release from Pentax. I actually forgot just how good that long lens is. This image was shot handheld, which is a very good testimony to the Shake Reduction feature. Thanks very much for your comment.

Some sun today so the tulips finally opened along the side of the garage. I was able to grab a quick shot using the K-7 and FA 50mm. Certainly not the best shot with the white siding behind but hopefully it captures the color variation in the flower.

Thanks for the feedback. Of course with our yo-yo weather in Central New York, the tulips are now covered in a layer of snow again, so I'm hoping it doesn't kill them off prematurely.

Amazing color, Tony. Sadly, tulips don't grow here, so I have to enjoy them in other peoples' gardens!

Not here in south Florida, no. Maybe way up in the northern tier of the state. Do contact the guv, he may have tulips at the Mansion.
