This conversion came out rather well, almost looks like a night time shot!

It's a stone structure erected in the mid 19th century to provide a day time guide for boats and ships to enter the harbour at Robe. The coast is low and without much in the way of distinguishing features so the oblidisk provides a visual reference visible some miles out to sea. The area is also reefy and open to the Southern Ocean so quite a dangerous coast.

Yes and they have blocked access due to erosion now, I suspect this landmark will be washed away soon.
