Pentax 150-450mm
Lens: Pentax 150-450mm Camera: Pentax K1 Mark II Photo Location: Virginia ISO: 160 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F6.3
Posted By: Scmillner, 04-18-2021, 07:12 PM

Rented the 150-450 lens to take photos of the spring activity of the Osprey's and Eagles. So far only Osprey's are more active. I did find out that using TAv is a better option for me with BIF photos. I am loving this lens! Has anyone had any issues when using this lens? Thinking about purchasing it just looking for any issues that I have not seen yet.

Excellent Shots.

I use the DFA150-450 all the time on my K-1 , I've had no issues so far.

I have heard of one or two having a major barrel separation issues.

The only issue I had when I rented a 150-450 was that I didn't want to return it. Buying my own copy was the cure.

Your photo illustrates a principle that only at the surface seems unrelated. The fish is as big as the bird. It is as illogical as the old west where women rode side-saddle, instead of men.

Excellent shot. Not only it is indeed very sharp, but birds are showing us another way for fishing. I feel sorry for the poor fish who will never see water again. Thanks for sharing!

It was $175 including the protection and shipping for 7 day. Lensrental.com - they are wonderful to work with.
